Steven George Poehls, 44, of Moline Illinois passed away on August 17, 2026. Per Steve's wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com
Steve was born on February 8, 1982, in Iowa City, Iowa to Steven and Eileen (VanDeSompele) Poehls. He was a year 2000 graduate of Davenport West High School. He went on to study electronics at Hamilton Technical College. Steve enjoyed many different things. He liked to build computers, photography, and road trips.
Those left cherish his memory include his parents; sister, Erica Poehls and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by grandparents, Lois and Earl Poehls, Evelyn and Albert VanDeSompele; uncle, Tim Poehls and his cat, Yoda.
