Tamara R. Bohland

Tamara R. Bohland, 42, of Davenport went home to the Lord Thursday, May 04, 2017 after a six-year courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at noon on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Community Fellowship Church, Blue Grass. Visitation will be two hours prior at the church. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery. She was born August 1, 1974 in Davenport the daughter of Michael and Jackie (Douglas) Sweeney. During her childhood years she lived in Blue Grass with her mother, Jackie and stepdad, Jeff Tharp. Tamara was united in marriage to Marcus F. Bohland on January 22, 1993 in Davenport.

She worked for many years at Modern Woodmen until her illness. Tamara was very family orientated and loved her children dearly. She volunteered on the PTA Board and the Youth Club at work.

Those celebrating her life include her loving husband of twenty-four years, Marcus; mother and stepdad; children: Brianna Bohland, age 20, Tyler Bohland, age 13, Hayden Bohland, age 11; brothers: Jason (Emily) Sweeney, Christian Michael (Lindsey) Sweeney, Jeffrey (Megan) Tharp and Sean Patrick Sweeney; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Tamara was preceded in death by her father, Michael and grandparents.
