Tara Ann Keil passed away on February 9, 2026, at her residence at the age of 47. A visitation will be held at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport, IA, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with burial to follow at Oakdale Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to Hills & Dales Residential Center.
Tara was born on August 6, 1978, in Davenport, Iowa to parents Gary Keil and Vickie (Russell) in Davenport, Iowa. She later moved to Hills & Dales Residential Center in Dubuque, Iowa, where she graduated from Dubuque High School. At Hills & Dales, she found her second cherished family.
Tara loved to keep all her Scentsy plushies close by and found joy in listening to the noises of basketball games and music.
Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Vickie Keil; siblings, Kelly, Reggie (Traci), Brian, and Brianne, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Keil, and her grandparents, Gene Russell, Alta Russell, Wesley Keil, and Billie Keil.
