Terrida Denise Atwater

Terrida D Tracy, 43, of Davenport, IA passed away unexpectedly on July 01, 2017. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 29, 2017 at the House of Fire Ministries located at 2365 11th Street, Rock Island Il. Terrida was born August 16, 1973 in Chicago, Il to Jackie Carmichael and Arlene Tracy. She graduated from Morgan Park High school in 1992. More recently had attended classes at Brown Mackie College. Terrida worked for at Wrigley Field, as a TSA agent at the O’ Hare airport and most recently at X-Pac located in Milan, Il.

In her younger years Terrida enjoyed playing softball. But being a mother was something very special to her. She made sure her children were her top priority and making sure every mouth was fed and kids had their needs met. Terrida always prepared large home cooked meals for her family. Every now and then when she had a free moment to relax, she would drive down and watch the river and listen to her music; which she was known to have extensive collection. She was also known for her red hair.

Terrida volunteered at the Kings Harvest Shelter and the Salvation Army. She was a woman of resources and always had an open and giving heart. She opened the doors of her home to people that needed a place to stay and food to eat.
