Terry Lee Curry

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Nub’s Bar, 2202 W. 3rd st. Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for his sons’ education.

Terry was born on February 23, 1976, the son of Steve Adrian and Debora (Curry) Tomsha in Davenport, IA. He was united in marriage to Kesha Carlson on March 12, 1994, in Walcott, IA. He worked most of his life as a laborer for various construction companies.

Terry, a.k.a. “Speedy T”, was a Chevy motor head and he loved tinkering in his garage with his cars. More than anything, he loved his wife and children and would do anything for them.

Those celebrating his life include his loving wife of 32 years, Kesha; sons, Bradlee Curry, Rylee Curry (Breanna Merrill), and Weslee Curry, all of Davenport, IA; parents, Debora Tomsha and Steve Adrian; siblings, Steven (Brandy) Adrian Jr. of Deltona, FL, Jermy (Holly) Adrian of Davenport, IA, Alisha Adrian of Davenport, IA, and Donald Tomsha of Davenport, IA; aunt, Sherry Jump of Camanche, IA; uncle, Eddie (Mindy) Curry of DeWitt, IA; sisters-in-law, Kim Kappeler (James Birkhofer) of Walcott, IA, and Rochelle (Todd) Lane of Muscatine, IA; brother-in-law, Joe Carlson of Davenport, IA; and mothers and fathers-in-law, Larry and Kathy Kappeler, and Lyle and Connie Carlson; along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil Curry and Shirley Jump, Willis and Marion Kappeler, Richard and Lylia Carlson, and Gordan and Catherine Downing.
