Terry was born on March 27, 1964 in Iowa City, IA, one of nine boys born to his parents. He was united in marriage to Sarah Warnstaff on October 12, 2012 in Davenport, IA.
Terry had a passion for roofing and subcontracted for 35 years. He was a good man who later in life became an ordained minister. He loved the Chicago Bears and was a huge fan.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; two children, Terry Jr. (Sabrina) and Tiffany; brothers, Wayne, Jim (Sherry), Keith, (Sue), Kevin, Dennis (Shelly), Jeff (Kerry), and Craig (Bobbie); three grandchildren; and nine stepchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, James McConnell, Sr.; his mother, Dorothy Misner and an infant brother.
