Terry L. Moon

Originally from Rock Island, IL, Terry graduated from Rock Island High School, class of 1961. He served as a staff sergeant in the National Guard until 1970.

Terry was a hard worker. He retired from John Deere Foundry as a metal patternmaker. He spent many years at Blackhawk Foundry. Terry was always interested in police work. He was in the junior police as a kid and the citizen police academy in DeWitt, IA.

Terry had a quick wit and great sense of humor. He enjoyed making others laugh. He was kind, gentle, and loved spending time with his family. Terry liked being outdoors and kept his lawn perfectly manicured.

Those left to celebrate his life are his daughters, Stephanie Moon, Davenport, IA and Tara (Shawn) Green, FL; brother, Greg (Susan), WI; ex-wife and caretaker, Bobbie Moon, Davenport, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind his cat, Garth, who was a special part of his life.
