Terry was a great friend and a marvelous story teller. I loved being a fly on the wall when he and my former husband were working on the nearest thing to flight on land.  He was good at making people feel welcome and part of the crew...unless he wasn't in the mood. Luckily for me I never caught that side of him but he warned me it was there. I never saw it and told him that as much as his dog loved him there was no way I could believe that he was anything but a decent human being. His daughter and his wife were equally as welcoming and every bit as easy to hang out with. Terry will be missed for his contributions great and small. He was a good guy. I'm happy I got to be in his sphere for a minute.

I first met Terry in 1991 when i had him build the motor for a 1963 sportster. What  a great mind for detail. I had many long conversations with Terry about that motor and the bike it would go into.With his help it turned into one of the baddest bikes around! I was saddened to hear of Terry's passing, may he rest in peace.
Terry helped the Jamison Equipment Racing team advance to the finals 7 events in a row in 1989 in the AMRA circuit.  We had a great time together.  I learned a lot from Terry.

Met Terry when we needed some work done on a 68 HD sportster. He certainly was a pleasure to meet and what a wealth of knowledge. Terry was unique and an "old school" biker. The knowledge he had and his mechanical abilties will never be replaceable! God speed to you Terry.

To Terrys family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. Terry was definitely has own man and a true Hot Rodder. His passion for building older shovel heads and iron head sportsters will be missed by many as he had his own distinct style.

Pat and Summer, sorry to hear about Terry. I've known Terry for 40 years and he has done my motors numerous times. He was a micometer nut and could do things that defied logic. I remember many BS sessions with him in the shop. He will be greatly missed. Bruce Whitmore, Port Byron, Il.

Patty & family, I just found out today from my son, Joe. I am so sorry and still a bit shocked. Its been too long since we communicated but my thoughts & prayers are with you all.    I have had the pleasure of knowing Terry for the past 10 years, during those years we became good friends. To say the least he was contagious...The wisdom and knowledge he brought to the table was unmatched, from building hot rod Harley's to giving a young man insight on life, in's & out's, do's & dont's, he was great inspiration and mentor of mine.
     Those quick 10-15 minute stops by the shop always turned into 2-3 hrs, you would have to clean a path to the lift...maybe clean off a spot there or unpile 50-100 magazines & catalogs off the ole stool next to his chair. It never failed either as it got later in the night he would ask if I was hungry and we would go to the stube next door and grab a pretzel, becuase that's the only thing he would get from the place. 
   I will miss the pulp fiction quotes, him showing me the "BMF" wallet everytime I stopped, listening to what he thought about choppers & bobbers, and the cowboys around town.
  My fondness memory with Terry would have to be his 68th birthday when he called and wanted to go out and have "a drink".  To be expected by the end of the night there was a crowd around him listening and laughing at all his jokes and stories, he loved it! 
    The quad cities area harley enthusiasts have lost the best. He will truly be missed by myself and many others.

I was very sorry to learn of Terry's passing.  I have many memories of working with Terry when we raced for Jamison Equipment.  Lots of late nights in the shop and traveling to races.  We had a lot of fun.  My condolences to all of his family.

Prayers and hugs and love...to all of the family.  I am glad I got to meet him and that Riley did too...wish I could be there.

Sending prayers to Terry's family. We only met Terry a couple of times at the drag strip, but he was a great person and we wish we could have known him better. He will be greatly missed in the racing community.
