Terry L. Petersen

Visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10 am until noon, at The Runge Mortuary, where a graveside service will follow at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Blue Grass Volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Terry was born August 10, 1937 in Davenport to Harry and Norma (Behrens) Petersen. He married E. Ann Barnett on February 23, 1958 in Davenport. She preceded him in death on May 19, 2021.

He worked as a route driver for 37 years for Wonder Bread prior to retiring in 1994. In his free time, he enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening, known for his tomatoes, fishing, playing cards and going to the casinos. He bowled on several area leagues, where he was a member of the “600” Club and had multiple “300” games. He also played on the Blue Grass Men’s Fast-pitch Softball League where he was a pitcher.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Connie (Leonard) Petersen, Bettendorf, son, Kevin Petersen granddaughter, Cory (Christian) Munn, 4 great grandchildren: Devin (Samantha) Munn, Kaleb (Kimberly) Munn, Camren Munn and Katelyn Munn; dear family friend, Bob Downing and his beloved dog, Joey.

His parents, sister Donna Johnson and a son, Craig preceded him in death in addition to his wife.
