Carol was born in Sendai, Japan on January 3, 1931. Growing up, she assisted her parents in their produce shop and worked to complete her schooling. Carol later met Robert Crook when he was serving in the United States Navy overseas. The pair went on to get married in Tokyo, Japan on April 15, 1966. Carol moved to the United States with Robert and they enjoyed 19 years together before Robert passed in 1985. Carol worked at the local Holiday Inn as a Housekeeper.
In her spare time, Carol enjoyed crocheting, knitting, creating ceramics, and spending time with family. She loved to play cards and she sure knew how to play them right. Carol was an exceptionally headstrong person and was beloved by those who had a chance to know her.
Those left to carry on Carol’s memory include her nieces and nephews, Tom (Sheri) Simons, John (Rose) Simons, Dick Hill, Robert Hill, Dixie (Dean) Norris, Jamie (Brenda) Hill, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Crook, and her parents.
