Tim was born on August 24, 1988, in Hinsdale, Illinois, to Steve and Cally Madigan, and spent most of his life in Davenport.
From a young age, hockey was an important part of Tim’s life. A standout player, he spent years playing travel hockey with his dad, Steve, as his coach. As competitive as Tim was, hockey was just as much about the people around him, particularly the time he shared with his dad. Off the ice, Tim was almost always with his close-knit group of friends, and the Madigan home became a second home to many of them.
Tim graduated from Davenport Central High School and went on to build a career in construction, where his natural ability to work with his hands served him well. He also loved buying, fixing up, and selling cars on the side. More recently, he completed a welding certificate, adding another skill to an already long list.
Tim will be remembered for his effortless sense of humor, his kindness, and the way he connected with people. He genuinely loved being around people and cared deeply about those in his life. He shared an especially close bond with his mom, Cally, whose love, support, and steady presence were constants throughout his life.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Steve Madigan; his uncle, Patrick Madigan; and his grandparents, Lois and Myke Madigan and Ruth and William Malone.
He is survived by his mother, Cally Madigan; his brother, Tyler Madigan, and Tyler’s wife, Phyo Myint; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends who will miss him deeply.
A private service will be held with immediate family.
