Trillis Faye Cruys, 80, of Davenport was freed from her health struggles on September 8, 2014. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 26 at 4:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. There is no visitation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Trillis was born March 31, 1934 in Griffin, GA., the daughter of Ernest and Gertrude (Gardner) Hancock. She was united in marriage to Carl Cruys on December 19, 1954 in Griffin, GA. She retired from AT&T after over twenty years of service.
She was a wonderful woman whom everyone loved. She enjoyed cooking, baking, writing poetry and spending time with her family.
Those celebrating her life include her loving husband of sixty years, Carl; children: Bart Raymond, Curt William and Carla Vanderheiden; grandsons: Joel Vanderheiden and Raymond Cruys; brother, William (Joyce) Hancock and sister-in-law, Joan Wazell. Her parents preceded her in death.
