Tyler Shields Struckman

Tyler Shields Struckman, 32, of Macomb, IL, died unexpectedly on January 11, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1993, in Rock Island, IL, to parents Bryan Struckman and Kathleen “Kassie” (Shields) Green.

Tyler had an infectious smile, loved music of all genres, and had a tender heart for animals. He had a large extended family who loved him deeply. Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Bryan, and his beloved dog, Sadie. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kassie and Dave Green; brother Sam Green; grandparents De Struckman, Tom and Chris Shields, and David (Sheila) Struckman; aunts and uncles Michele and Erik Maitland, Andrea (Dave) Halligan, Scott Shields and Brooke Rohde, and Betsy Shields. He is also survived by cousins Taylor (Drew) Quilty, Sierra (Gerod) Getty, Matthew Franks, Macoy Rice, and Lily and Murphy Shields; stepsister Kimberly (Tanner) Colclasure, and stepbrother David (Robin) Green. Additionally he is survived by his cat, Blade. A private family visitation will be held.

Tyler’s life, though far too brief, mattered to many. May he finally be at peace.
