She was born daughter of William and Mary Vickrey in Glasgow, Montana. She lived in numerous places due to her father being in the Air Force – Japan, New Hampshire, Nebraska, California, and Iowa. She attended West High School. She married the love of her life, Dennis Ewoldt on January 20, 1979 in Davenport, Iowa. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage, including three sons, Jason, Christopher, and Brad.
She loved to cook, bake, knit, and crochet. She also had a passion for animals and raised two litters of orphaned raccoons and an orphaned lamb.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis; sons, Jason, Christopher, and Brad; eight grandchildren; aunt, Anna Prince; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Susan Menzl Johnson; and her beloved Dachund “Diesel.”
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Erica Vickrey, Diane Cox, and Natalie Amhof.
