Valerie was born on September 24, 1951, to Barney and Amy (Griffin) Kraft. She graduated from Bettendorf High School and went on to work as a waitress, cleaning contractor and bus driver for Davenport Schools.
Valerie loved basket weaving and collecting art. She enjoyed many different culinary delights, even gardening her own food. Valerie liked to travel including bus and road trips. In her more recent years she discovered the wonderful world of Disney experiences.
She is survived by her children, a number of grandchildren, and her three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Amy, and three siblings Michael Kraft, Mara Williams, and Beth Hamby.
