Vicki Lynn Quinlan (Greer), age 73, passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2026, in the presence of her loving husband and daughter. After her 11-year battle with cancer and along with her struggles with MS, Vicki has finally found peace and comfort at home with her Lord Savior Jesus Christ.
Vicki was born on March 20, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, to Kenneth and Lucille Greer. She attended and graduated from Davenport West High School, after which she worked for the family business, Davasco Inc. until 1976. Vicki worked as a shipping clerk at H&W trucking but later worked as an Event Coordinator for the Adler Theatre. However, after being diagnosed with MS in 1992, she was forced to retire from a job she thoroughly enjoyed.
Vicki found her true love later in life, Dean. They met in 1998, married in Las Vegas in May of 2001. They love to travel, play games, watch movies, work in the garden, enjoy their puppies, doing everything together; they were inseparable.
Vicki had many talents and interests that brought joy to her life and to those around her. She played the piano, loved cooking and baking, and was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed crocheting, counted cross-stitching, acrylic painting, embroidery, sewing, and especially nurturing the beauty of her garden.
Above all, Vicki will be remembered for her giving heart, caring nature, and loving spirit. Her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior was an important part of her life. She touched the lives of others with her kindness and had a special way of making people smile. She believed in the importance of always being kind to others, a message she lived out through the love and compassion she shared with those around her. She especially loved spending time with her family and close friends.
Vicki is survived by her spouse, Dean Quinlan; her children, Lynnze (Thomas) Feeney of Winston Salem, NC, and Chad Finken of Rock Island, IL; her stepsons, Shawn Quinlan and Aaron (Stacy) Quinlan of St. Peters, MO; and her sister Kathy Thompson, Alexander, AR; three nephews, seven granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson; her close family member, Jessie; and her beloved pets, Zoee and Charlee, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mitch Greer, and her nephew Kyle Wagner.
