Viola Arp

Viola Arp, 95, of Davenport formerly of Walcott passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at Iowa Masonic Home, Bettendorf. Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, November 20, 2010 at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the mortuary. She was born February 6, 1915 in Scott County. She was united in marriage to Edwin Arp, Sr. June 6, 1934 in Lewiston, IL. He preceded her in death in 2001. Mr. and Mrs. Arp farmed in Scott County for 38 years, retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, listening to music and dancing at the Walcott Coliseum.
