Vivian Pauline Boone

Vivian Pauline “Polly” Boone, 93, of Davenport, passed away Monday, March 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by those that loved her. She passed one week before her 94th birthday. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Vivian Pauline Hughes was brought to life on March 16, 1932, to Bertie Mae (Harlow) and John Paul Hughes. Vivian married Daniel David Boone on September 10, 1951, in Rock Island, Illinois. Daniel proceeded her in death on June 18, 2012.

Vivian was also proceeded in death by 2 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, her brother (her favorite) Ray, 2 sisters Billie and Carol, and her lifelong best friend, Pauline Waldron.

She is survived by daughters Rhonda (Terry) Wadkins and Sara (Les) Anders, whom she lived with for the last 7 years, 2 sons, 3 other daughters, an “adopted daughter” Jana Foran, 19 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren.

We would like to thank all the wonderful people at Heartland Hospice, Dr. Mikka Appel, and her “private nurse” Jana.
