Vivian was known for having an open house filled with judgmental love, but it was genuine. Also, she’d never do anything she didn’t want to do! If you know her, you know. Her favorite thing was cooking right along with watching her third world African culture shows and attending to her kids.
She was the glue to OUR world. The Mother-Hen! She was devoted to keeping the family together. She always showed strength in everyday she carried forward. Vivian carried us all forward with her warmth, her steadiness, her courage, her whole life.
My Vivian, my “Big Vera”, My Mother, was the true definition of a pure nurturer, leaving behind a legacy that will be hard to fill. She was full of thoughtfulness, consideration, and enduring love.
Her memory will remain a lasting comfort to whom were all fortunate to have shared that wonderful life of hers.
She is survived by children/grand: Lil Vera, Sherral, Roxanne, Tanaka, Renita, Dante, Izsabella, Jacari, Deveria, Verdel, Niz’jon, Tanajae; her extended kids Jayel, Lewis, Markie, Anthony T.; siblings Willie Clay, Teresa Brown, Carrie McAfee, Mary Starks, Micheal Starks, Allen Brown; also numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandson Sirmeir, her mother Rebecca Brown and her brother Robert Starks.
Till we meet again…..
