

Wanda Jean Richards, 52, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at St Mary Healthcare and Rehab Center in Davenport. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Omaha, NE. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Wanda was born September 19, 1962 in St. Louis, MO. She was united in marriage to Steven C. Richards on March 1, 2004 in Clovis, NM.
She was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her family; her grandchildren were her whole world. She had a passion for cooking and cooking for her family was one of the things Wanda loved the most. She had a competitive nature and loved a good challenge whether it be a game of Yahtzee, Scrabble or yard-darts. She put the needs of everyone else above her own and had an open-door reputation for accepting anyone who walked through her door, into the family. For being such a tiny little thing, she had such a big personality and a big heart.
She was a huge Green Bay Packers fan amidst the household of Vikings fans. She loved her music and her wish was to have people listen to the song, “I’m Gone,” by Elvin Bishop when remembering her.
Survivors include her loving husband, Steven; son, Aarron Lassek and his son, D’Angelo; daughter, Carlie Lassek and her sons: Kole and Klae; daughter, Brenna and Gavin Blasi and their son, Gavin Jr and daughter, Ravynn; daughter, Denyse Lassek and Landau Beluna and their daughter, Anhayla and son, Landau Jr.; son, Jamie Vega; all of Omaha, NE; stepchildren: Leah RIchards and her children: Aubryana and Isaiah; Sarah Richards; Jacob Richards and his daughter, Lilly. Her mother, Sue Halhauser preceded her in death.
