She will be laid to rest in the Rock Island National Cemetery with full military honors at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, February 17, 2023. For those wishing to attend, the procession will be leaving at 12:30 P.M. from the Runge Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
She was born September 29, 1948 in Norwood, Missouri to Ira and Bonnie (Houston) Richards. She was united in marriage to Charles Ineichen in 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She retired from the Rock Island Arsenal as a Contract Specialist for the Corps of Engineers.
She loved children and was often seen as the “mother” of the neighborhood. She was artsy and loved crafting, sewing, drawing, and making Afghans.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Charlie; son, Gary Willer; step-son, Gabe Ineichen; two granddaughters, Alexis and Catlain; and brothers, Bobby, Harold, and Ira Richards.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Clyde, Billie, and Rodney Richards.
