William Floyd Gamble

Billy Boy was born July 21, 1946, in Lancaster, MO to William & Claella (Floyd) Gamble. He was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Reynolds on May 15, 1992, she preceded him in death in 2000. Billy had been employed as a crane operator with Harry Alter & Son for many years, retiring in 1971. He then went to work at the form Zephyrs service station for 20 years before his second retirement.

Billy was a member of the Davenport Eagle Club. He was a very helpful person, willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it.

Survivors include daughter Beverly (Robert) Foster, New Strawn, KS; son Kenny Gamble, Wilton, IA; 1 stepdaughter Jeanne Nagel, Park City, IL; 2 stepsons William & Brian VanDeWarker; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Paula (Scott) King; brother Denny (Patty) Gamble; and sister-in-law Barbara (George) Harlacher
