William "Buck" Gibson II

William Lee “Buck” Gibson, II, 43, of Davenport, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 3:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1 pm until 3 pm at the mortuary. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Buck was born April 16, 1971 in Davenport; the son of William Lee and Helen Jean (Sable) Gibson. He was united in marriage to Christie Pieper on December 23, 2000 in Davenport. He worked as a forklift operator at Sears Manufacturing for 14 years. Buck loved working on cars and attending auto auctions. He was a very loving husband, father and grandpa who like to have a good time and enjoyed life.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Christie; Davenport; daughters: Shranda and Zara; sons: Kenny, Jordan, Tyler, Bubba, T.J. and Kyle; grandchildren: Jaylissa, Tylynn, Boogie, Kaylee and Jordyn; sisters, Nancy and Stacy; brothers: Carl, Russ, Terry and Heath and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death.
