Bill Mateski was our beloved friend. It seems impossible, but I have known Bill and his wonderful wife Kathy for nearly half of my life. And, it also seems impossible that Bill has departed. Bill was as strong, solid and brilliant, as he was kind and gentle. He was also such a gentleman, an adoring husband, father and grandfather. I'll always remember Bill fondly, and never forget him. I'm grateful that he was my friend.

Kathy and Family,

It was an honor to know Bill and share a long friendship with him.
I was fortunate to work with Bill at Star Forms for almost 20 years.
He took me under his wing and was like a Dad to me given I was just out of high school when I started full time.
Such a genteel man with the kindest heart and he certainly never changed.
Our Star Forms family are so grateful that you were able to join us at our monthly dinners and it always made our get togethers much more fun when we got to catch up with you both.
Please know how much this sweet man will be missed.
RIP dear Bill

Having been friends since our college days, we are quite saddened by Bill’s passing. It all started with Linda and Kathy’s friendship at WIU. We enjoyed our special opportunities to be together with Bill and Kathy, and their family, over the years, especially for Mark’s wedding, and our summer 2019 Viking Cruise on the Rhine River. It was a very memorable trip for all four of us. We pray that Bill will Rest In Peace, and that Kathy will continue to carry on her undeniable zest for life and love for family.
