

William H.”Bill” Pamperin, 91, of Davenport, died Friday, April 15, 2011 in Davenport. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4-7PM Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the mortuary.

Bill was born January 1, 1920 in Davenport, the son of Louis and Ella (Howell) Pamperin. He served in the Army during WWII.
He was united in marriage to Beatrice A. Ruhde on March 3, 1950 in Davenport. He worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for thirty-nine years and retired as Chief of Printing and Reproduction. Following that he owned and operated his own business, Pronto Quick Print, for 11 years; and then he retired.
His memberships included: Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge #28, Isaac Walton League, American Legion Post 246, NARFE and AARP.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Beatrice, Davenport, children: Kevin, Stillwater, MN; William “Todd”, Waterloo, IA, Terry, Davenport, IA, Kurt (Anna), Grapeview, WA and Kim Haglund, Rocky Mount, NC; and four grandchildren, Jessica Pamperin, Jennifer Haglund, Rochelle Pamperin, and Allison Haglund.
His parents; brothers, George, Walt, Harry, Raymond; and a sister, Elizabeth Boise, preceded him in death.
