William D. Rash, 62, of Bettendorf passed away November 27, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time on Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Bill married Ann Smith in 1971. Later he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a maintenance mechanic for most of his life. His greatest interest in life was spending time with his family and paying it forward. Survivors include his wife, Ann; children: Angela (Dave) McGinty and son William (Jenny) Rash; seven grandsons; one great grandson and sisters: Connie Finney, Pat Van Dyne, Cindy Winters and Marsha Mabeus. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Ernie, a sister, Karla Palmer and a granddaughter.
