

Wilma J. Firrell, 86, of Walcott, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 unexpectedly as a result of an accident. Funeral service will be held at 10AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Friday, October 6, 2017 at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the Walcott or Buffalo Volunteer Fire Departments. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo. Online tributes may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Wilma was born on September 15, 1931in Drury, MO, the daughter of Leonard and Verna (Hutchison) Rebmann. She was united in marriage to Bob Firrell on May 18, 1950 in Mountain Home, AR. He preceded her in death in 1992. Wilma had been a resident of Buffalo for over 50 years before moving to Walcott. She had worked at various businesses as sales clerk for many years. Wilma enjoyed gardening, her flowers, baking pies and desserts, and canning food. Her family was very important to her and her orange Tupperware dishes, missing one portion, will be missed at family functions. Those left to celebrate her life include her son Robert Junior (Joy) Firrell, Blue Grass; grandchildren Darcy (Brian) McNeer, Morton, IL., Devona White, Walcott, and Rob (Heather) Firrell, Walcott; great grandchildren Devin, Maverick, Madeline, Elyse, Finn, and Lena; and her beloved dog Phoebe. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, brothers Lowell, Brownie, and her twin Bud.
