Barbara Jean Nollmeyer

Barbara Jean (nee Musch) Nollmeyer of Reardan, WA, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, October 30, 2026. She was born in Altamont, SD, to William and Dolores Musch, on July 20, 1945.

Barb married James (Jim) Nollmeyer on June 13, 1965. They moved to their current farm house north of Reardan, WA, where they raised their family. After doing farm work for George Ellis for a time, they began working the farmland on their own to present. Barb was a founding and life-long member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and School in Spokane, WA. She enjoyed playing piano and organ, working in her yard, and working with Jim and her children on the family farm.

Barb is survived by her husband James Nollmeyer, daughters Dawn (Greg) Johnson, Lisa (Igor) Koruga, Desiree (Matt) Boucher, Kimberly (Nick) D’Andrade, and son Joshua Nollmeyer, sister Colleen (Doug) Riediger, and 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Scott William and Peter James Nollmeyer, and her parents, William and Dolores Musch.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026 at 1 p.m at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Spokane, WA, Memorials may be given to St. Matthews Lutheran School.
