BAARSTAD, Beverly I –

Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2019 at her home. Beverly was born November 22, 1937 in Wenatchee, WA to William and Bertha May. She grew up in Wenatchee, graduated from Wenatchee High School and later married Virgil Baarstad on October 28, 1961 in Seattle, WA. They made their home in Shoreline, WA where they lived for 51years before moving to Davenport, WA in 2012 to be closer to their children. Beverly was devout in her faith, loved singing with the Bethel Lutheran and Zion Lutheran choir. She loved cooking, her flower gardens, reading, arts & crafts, traveling with her husband and spending time with family which brought her the most enjoyment. While in Shoreline she was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and then transferred to the Zion Lutheran Church when they moved to Davenport. Beverly is survived by her husband of 57 years, two sons Eric (Gina) Baarstad and Todd (Jeanne) Baarstad along with seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and six sisters. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on August 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport, WA with Pastor Stacey Friedlein, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Hospital Foundation, 10 Nicholl St. Davenport, WA 99122. Aunt Bev was a wonderful lady, and we are so sorry for your loss.
