

Passed away January 15, 2016 in Spokane, WA, he was born on March 13, 1936 as Charles Lee Wyrick. He became Charles Lee Dahm at the age of 10 when he was adopted by Harry and Ruth Dahm. He is preceded in death by his wife Norrita and his three older siblings Marvin, Gladys and Helen. He was raised all around Washington, from Othello to Deer Park. He met and married Norrita Greenwalt; she came with two children Craig Knudson and Candace (Knudson) Bundrock. They started a new beginning with two more sons and a daughter, Chet Leroy Dahm, Clayton Lee Dahm, and Cathy LeAnn (Dahm) Golden all of Spokane. Charles has eight grandchildren Cynthia Mae, (Justice Coker), Christina Marie, Cameron Christopher and Cody James (Children of Cathy), Joshua Michael and Brandon, Brittany and Jesse (children of Clayton). Three great grandchildren April (Cynthia), Chloe (Brandon), Alaska Dawn (Jesse). Charles raised his family in Edwall, WA, for a few years then moved his family to Spokane in 1970, where he remained for the rest of his life. He drove semi-truck for many years, then due to a train striking his semi his back was broken and they sent him back to school to become one of the best motorcycle mechanics. He was the head mechanic for Spikes Cycle and Westside Honda in Cheney till he retired in 1987. After his wife died, Charles enjoyed camping, Salmon fishing and hunting, collecting guns and going to auctions. He loved his family and all that went with it and will be truly miss by all. As per his request no flowers or plants but memorials may be made to Hospice of Spokane in his name. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 1-4 PM at the Cascade Community Center, 2311 W. 16th, Spokane, WA. Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA is caring for the family.
