

Passed away peacefully on Monday August 24, 2026, following a four-year battle with colon cancer. Dan was born May 9, 1963, in Odessa, WA to Raymond and Mary Coleman. Dan was a lifetime resident of Davenport and a 1982 graduate of Davenport High School. He attended Grays Harbor C.C. and Spokane C.C. His life work was farming. He was an excellent welder and repairing machinery as needed. He was an avid hunter, harvesting over forty-eight deer and two elk and enjoyed hunting for grouse, doves, pheasants and coyotes. He was a member of the Davenport Gun Club and N.R.A. and was a Davenport F.F.A chapter member. He enjoyed trap shooting, rifle completions, and sporting clays. He spent many hours with his buddies reloading shells and telling stories. Dan is survived by his mother Mary (Warwick) Coleman, two sisters Rita (Brian) Lorah and Bonnie (Lyn) Wolfe and his favorite niece Nicole Wolfe and his Aunt Nancy (Glen) Reinbold and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Ray Coleman, Grandparents Lyle and Nell Colemand and Eldon and Gladys Warwick, Aunts Collene Colman Fite, Jane Warwick Felker and Susan Warwick.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held later. In lieu of flowers family suggest memorials be made in Dan’s honor to the Davenport, Gun club, Zion Lutheran Church or Colon Cancer research, Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.strate-funeral.com for the Coleman family.
