David Phillip Daniels

DANIELS Sr., David P. –

Beloved husband, father, and grandpa passed away March 9, 2018 at his home in Wilbur, WA. He was born on July 19, 1940 in Waterloo, Iowa to Phillip and Mamie Daniels. David joined the US Navy in Aug of 1957 and served till July 1961. After the military David found his way to Wilbur, WA where he married Donna J. Wesley on February 23, 1966. They raised three children Davina, Dawn and David Jr. David worked for Central WA Grain Growers for over 28 years. David is a member of the Wilbur Presbyterian Church and the Wilbur Sr. Center. David was dedicated to his family. He enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandchildren, playing games and cards, fishing locally and in Alaska, camping and loved to cook. Whenever anyone stopped by his home they would find David cooking or watching cooking shows. David is survived by his wife Donna and his three children Davina (Tim) Rosendahl, Dawn Vincent and David (Vanessa) Daniels Jr. along with his six grandchildren: Amber, Breauna, Bethany, Michael, Kaleigh, and Sheighlee, plus ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Leroy Daniels and two sisters Evon Hill and Delores Burnett. Funeral services, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Wilbur Presbyterian Church, Wilbur, WA with Pastor Laura Terasaki, officiating. Committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at the WA State Veterans Cemetery, 21705 W. Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA.
