TOULOU, Glen C. (Age 77)

Passed away unexpectedly on July 4, 2021 at his home near Fruitland, WA. Glen was born on Jan 14, 1944 in Auburn, WA to Julius and Gertrude Toulou. The family moved to Eastern Washington and Glen attended school before joining the US Army and served in Vietnam. Glen was an IT Technician for Centurytel telephone for many years before retiring in 2003. Glen married Bonnie Kieffer on December 22, 2002 in Coeur d’Alene, ID and they made their home near Fruitland, WA. Glen loved spending time with all his family, his horses and his dog Angel. Glen was a proud member of the Arrow Lake Sinixt band. He fought for 63 years to be recognized with all his siblings. Glen is survived by his wife Bonnie at the home, three children Chase (Brandi) Toulou, Melissa (Ryan) Brown and Heather (Anthony) Houston. Six step children Yvonne (Richard) Abrahamson, Blaine (Tracy) Kieffer, Donald (Tammy) Kieffer, Suzanne (Robert) Beniki, Billy Joe (Jennifer) Kieffer and Angela (Dan) Brock and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, two brothers Patrick and Julius Toulou and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. A Rosary service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, WA with Father Jake Morton, officiating. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Kewa Cemetery, Kewa, WA with Father Joe Fortier, officiating. Please join the family immediately following the services for dinner at the Inchelium Community Center. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Toulou family.
