

Helen was born on September 21, 1927 in Spokane WA, and was the oldest of six children. Following graduation from Creston High School in 1946, she attended Sacred Heart School of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in June, 1949.
On October 30, 1950, she married Paul R. Halverson and together started farming south of Creston, WA. Children soon followed and in 1960 they moved to Davenport, WA and purchased their farm. Helen was very involved in her community and church, and enjoyed helping her husband on their farm.
Helen is survived by her four children, Judy Halverson-Davis, Richard (Bing) Halverson, Joe Halverson, and Michelle Halverson-Morrison, her seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Edith Rustemeyer, two brothers Michael and John Rosman, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Joe and Agnes Rosman, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Halverson, and two brothers, James Rosman and William Rosman.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 7:00pm and mass on Friday, June 17th at 10:00am, both at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Davenport, WA. She will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or the Lincoln County Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
