

Passed away on April 30, 2012 in Spokane, Washington, formerly of Davenport, WA. He was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin on May 29, 1929 to George and Mamie Fisher. After high school he joined the United States Air Force in 1946. He married Bernice Wellence in Biloxi, Mississippi on July 19, 1949. After retiring from the Air Force in 1966, they made their home in Davenport, Washington. They continued to live north of Davenport until 2011 when they moved to Spokane, Washington. He is survived by his wife, Bernice at the home; four children: Frank Fisher and Kathy of Seattle, WA, Mary Warwick of Spokane, WA, John Fisher of Spokane, WA, and Joe Fisher and Kristyne of Rathdrum, ID; eleven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; one brother, Donald Fisher of San Jose, CA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and 7 sisters. Herman enjoyed hunting, fishing, coin collecting and collecting pea pods for the deer on his property. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his kids and grandkids’ activities. He drove school bus for several years while his children were in school in Davenport and in Creston.
