Kathleen Marie Scrupps

Passed away December 24, 2013 in Odessa, WA. Kathy was born on April 6, 1955 in San Francisco, CA to Timothy and Shirley Calnan. Kathy is survived by her husband Jay Scrupps at the home, three sons Walter (and Chris) Barry, Chris (and Amber) Scrupps, Ryan (and Kelsey) Scrupps along with five grandchildren, Brynne, Kade, Brielle, Gavin and Alma. Her mother Shirley Calnan, brother Casey (and Yvonne) Calnan, four sisters Teri (and Ben) Reihl, Shelley (and Matt) Severson, Mary Burns and Marvalee (and Stephen) Anderson with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Timothy Calnan and her brother Tim Calnan. Kathy married Jay Scrupps on July 22, 1992 in Spokane, WA and the two return to Odessa where they farmed and raised their family. Kathy worked for Inland Power and Light for 12 years, attended Christ Lutheran Church, member of the Crab Creek Gospel Group, Lincoln County FSA Board, W.A.W.G. She enjoyed singing, crossword and Sudoku puzzles and watching Wheel of Fortune. She loved harvest and driving combine and was the farms bookkeeper, enjoyed traveling and shopping. But her family, grandchildren and friends were what was most important to Kathy. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at the Christ Lutheran Church, Odessa, WA with Pastor Tim Hauge, officiating.
