McCOY, Kenneth R. –
Passed away November 3, 2018 at his home in Wellpinit, WA. He was born October 24, 1947 in Fruitland, WA to Alfred and Pearl McCoy. Ken was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam a member of the Spokane Tribe of Indians, and the Wellpinit V.F.W. post 10711. He was also a heavy equipment operator for many years and retired from the BIA road dept. He loved to hunt and go to the casino, playing poker with his family and loved his dog Elvis. Ken is survived by his two sons Clinton and Justin McCoy, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His mother Pearl McCoy, two brothers Clyde and Robert McCoy, six sisters Linda Kieffer, Carrie Abrahamson, Trudy Botten, Teresa McCoy, Sandy Bair, Charlene Abrahamson along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one son Jerome McCoy, father Alfred McCoy three brothers Don Denison, Steve McCoy, Pete McCoy and a sister Katheryn Kieffer. Funeral services, Wednesday November 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Wellpinit Longhouse, Wellpinit, WA. Interment will be held at the Hubert Cemetery, Ford, WA.
