Mary N. Fisk, age 95, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at her home in Davenport, Washington. Born on March 19, 1931, in Opheim, Montana, Mary arrived into the world alongside her beloved twin brother, Miles Madison, to parents Joseph and Harriott Madison. In 1933, the family moved to Washington State, where Mary grew up and later graduated from White Swan High School in 1949.
On July 4, 1952, Mary married James Fisk. Together they welcomed seven children—Joe, Jim, Becky, Rawleigh, Mary, Bill, and Patty—and built a life in several Washington communities, eventually settling in Clarkston.
Mary dedicated her career to serving others, working as a bookkeeper for nonprofit organizations. After retiring from Community Action Agency, she moved to Wilbur to be closer to family, and later to Davenport as her health declined.
Known for her kindness, her acceptance of all people, and her open door to anyone in need, Mary created a home where everyone felt welcome. She cherished her family deeply, and her happiest moments were those spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren—laughter filling the room, stories shared across generations.
Mary is survived by six of her children; Joe (Jacquie) Fisk, Jim (Sue) Fisk, Rawleigh (Katy) Fisk, Mary (Al) Swanson, Bill (Heather) Fisk, Patty (Joe) Nitta
She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and her twin brother Miles Madison.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her daughter, Becky; and two grandchildren, Jerome and Russell.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Davenport Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Bill Dehler officiating. There will be a potluck following the service at Davenport Memorial Hall. If you are able, please bring your favorite salad or dessert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission, St. Jude, or Salvation Army.
