Patsy Marilyn Mahand Greene

Patsy was born May 6, 1944 in Spokane, the only child of Drucile Mahand and Dorothy (Pierre) Wilcox. Patsy passed away December 17, 2012 at her home in Covington, Washington surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Patsy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Thomas Greene. Her children; Jim (Lucia) Elli, Kenny Elli, Dorothy “Sister” (Eric) Hertel, and Rick Elli. Grandchildren; Jamie Marshall, Nikki Taylor, Isaiah Elli, Mallory Elli, Matthew Taylor, Tara Elli, Briana Elli, Courtney Elli, Tyler Elli, Brittany Miller, Desiree Lea, Austin Elli, Tehran Miller, Leah Elli, and Tanner Elli. Great Grandchildren, some of whom called her simply “Great”; Payton Taylor, Kaylee Mull, Preston Roberts, and Zayden Pier. In addition Patsy leaves behind extended family and countless close friends in Washington, Oregon and Pennsylvania.

In her free time Patsy enjoyed and excelled at many crafts and hobbies; gardening, quilting, sewing, embroidery, custom card making and scrapbooking. Patsy’s gentle demeanor and loving manner will be irreplaceable to so many. She was the rock and glue of the family and is already missed dearly.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, on the West End of the Spokane Indian Reservation.
