

Passed away January 18, 2016 in Davenport, Washington. His home Spokane, Washington. He is survived by his wife Martha, three children Elizabeth (Dion) Ricketts, Janet Simpson and Holly (Rich) Doughty. Two grandchildren, Katherine Ricketts and Levi Ricketts, and a sister, Barbara Hotta, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Vivian Simpson. Wil is a United States Army Veteran, “Big Red One”. He is a member of Christ Central Church of Joy. He is also a member of the Spokane Mushroom Club. Wil enjoyed his kids and his family and had a twisted sense of humor. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards and coins, Superman comics, gem hunting and traveling. Work ethic was very important to Wil and he was always willing to help both family and friends at any time. Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Christ Central Church of Joy, W. 19 Shannon, Spokane, Washington.
