Ann Louise Patterson (née, Rosenberg), 88, passed away June 8th of natural causes. The Annapolis resident spent her life in the service of others, as a mother, a teacher, a legislative aide in the Maryland House of Delegates, and a volunteer at the Library of Congress, the U.S. Capitol, and the Annapolis Visitors Center. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Walter Patterson, her children Nancy (John Michelli), Tom (Elizabeth), John (Cathi Forbes), and grandchildren Louis (Ady Pié), Wil (Natalie) and Samuel. Her love for them was matched only by their love for her. Donations in her name can be made to the Anne Arundel County Public Library Foundation.
