Aaron Dhara

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Aaron Nicholas Dhara, age 25, who peacefully completed his earthly journey on August 26, 2026, at 12:19 a.m. at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, following complications from his third double-lung transplant.

Aaron was born on October 1, 2000, at 8:09 p.m. at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York to his loving and devoted parents, Adrian Ravi Dhara and Kavita Persaud.

Aaron attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, Florida, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He was passionate about understanding and helping others, and he carried that compassion into every aspect of his life.

Aaron was preceded in death by his beloved great-grandparents: Dhara and Elsie Dhara; Marcus and Ruth Dowlatram; David and Jasodra Sukha; and Feddy and Ophelia Persaud.

He is lovingly survived by his parents, Adrian Dhara and Kavita Persaud Dhara; his cherished siblings, Christopher, Milo, and Malia; his grandparents, Joseph and Julie Persaud and Deon and Joyce Dhara; and his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Among those who will forever treasure Aaron's memory are his aunts and uncles: Kriz, Rawl, Kanita, Raj, Beneeta, Steve, Diana, Chitra, Lenny, Chandra, and Navin; and his cousins: Kathrina, Steven, Matthew, Chloe, Madison, Daniel, Kiera, Amelia, Careena, Navin, SJ, Brielle, and Baby Amelia.

From an early age, Aaron demonstrated remarkable strength, determination, and resilience in the face of life's challenges. Despite enduring more than most could imagine, he approached life with courage, grace, and an un-wavering spirit that inspired all who knew him.

Aaron will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle soul, warm smile, and the joy he brought to family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him. His life was a shining example of perseverance, hope and love. Although his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on those around him will endure forever.

Aaron leaves behind a legacy of extraordinary resilience, unwavering courage, compassion, and light. He taught us the true meaning of strength, hope, and perseverance. While we mourn his loss, we are grateful for the precious years, memories, and love we shared with him.

His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him, and his memory will remain a lasting blessing.

Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 2401 S University Drive, Davie, FL 33324, US, on September 4, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
