Isreal began a career of Computer Operating and Programmer Analyst with Wometco (WTVJ channel 4) while attending Miami Dade, FIU, and St Thomas University. He worked for Ryder Trucks and various insurance companies including GAINSCO, Southern Underwriters, and AIG until 2022. He also obtained a Life and Health Insurance License to sell health insurance. His professional journey led him to take on new challenges. Being a people person, he worked for Chen Medical transporting patients to appointments. After the pandemic, he pulled construction permits with various cities until 2024
Isreal was known for his humor and magnetic personality. He had an extraordinary ability to make people laugh. He was the kind of person who could light up a room, leaving smiles and laughter wherever he went. His warmth and joy created memories that will be treasured forever as he left behind a legacy of love, laughter, wisdom, kindness and unforgettable moments. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through his family, friends and all the lives he touched.
During his adult life, in search for truth, he developed a deep love for Jehovah God and his son, Jesus Christ and began a lifelong career of wholehearted service. He used every opportunity to share that love with everyone he met to introduce them to Jehovah and his wonderful promises found in the Bible. He truly loved the ministry and taught with logical thinking.
He loved sports, puzzles, card games, a wide range of movies, shows and documentaries, western and legal dramas. He also had a long love of all genres of music, from classical and jazz, all the way to country music. Reggae and “oldies but goodies” music moved his soul.
Isreal a great husband and father is survived by his loving wife, RoseMarie of 44 years, children, Jillian, Lance, and Kimberly; 5 grandchildren, Jada, James, Jordyn, Bailey and Vivian; brothers, Sam Mattis (Essie), Louis Robinson (Vanessa); sisters, Barbara-Anne Hall, (Mike), Deloris Grant, (Ray), Geralean Davis, (Roger); several nieces, nephews, and a myriad of other relatives and friends. We will continue to cherish his memory knowing that this separation is only temporary (Rev 21:3-4).
