

Jean Marie Brennan Christopher, 91, and Andrew Mark "Andy" Christopher, 69, died less than 11 weeks of each other after a combination of illnesses. Jean died Oct. 30; Andy died Aug. 18.
Jean was proceeded in death by her younger brother, Terry.
Survivors include Jean's sons, Raymond Christopher, of North Carolina, and Brian Christopher, of Virginia. Jean's husband, E.J. "Chris" Christopher died in 1979. Other survivors include Raymond's wife, Govinda; Brian's wife, Lisa, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Jean worked for many years as a graphic artist for numerous South Florida printing and publishing companies and was an accomplished fine art painter. She met her husband while painting a scenic picture in Greynold's Park, in North Miami, in the early 1950s.
She and her mother, Margaret Brennan, who died in 1999, had moved to Hollywood following the death of Jean's father, entertainer Johnny Brennan, in 1949. Jean graduated from South Broward High School.
Andy had attended Annunciation Catholic School and Miramar High School. He worked for many years as a landscaper for numerous golf courses in the area, but his true love was surfing and motorcycles. He had traveled to Hawaii with his brother, Raymond, to experience a new level of surfing and he often raced his Kawasaki 900 at the former Hollywood Speedway.
Andy also cared for numerous wild animals that had been injured or separated, as young animals, from their mothers.
Jean will be interred with her U.S. Army veteran, Chris, at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
Andy's cremains will be scattered in the Gulf Stream Spring 2026 by his brother, Raymond, when they sail to the Bahamas together.
