February 19, 1960 – July 22, 2025
Madonna “Donna” Jane Erra (Miller) passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the hospital in Homosassa, Florida. She was 65 years old.
Donna was born on February 19, 1960, in Miami, Florida, to Michael and Jane Miller. A proud Miami native, she graduated from Miami High School, where her joyful spirit and caring nature first began to shine. In her youth, Donna was a Miami Dolphins “Dolphin Doll” cheerleader, gracing the sidelines with energy, athleticism, and grace.
She built a wonderful career as a licensed nail technician, known for her skilled hands, generous heart, and bold personal style. Donna was always impeccably dressed—fashion-forward and confident—but happiest when wearing her favorite flip-flops. She loved the ocean and found peace and joy at the beach or on the boat, soaking in the sunshine and sea breeze.
Donna was married to Robert Luis “Bobby” Erra, sharing a deep bond until his passing in 2016.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Elle Osborne, her son, Jason Ledgard, her brother, Billy Miller, and her beloved dog, Penny. Donna was a lifelong animal lover, and over the years she shared her home and heart with several faithful companions—including Justice, Karter, and Penny—each one deeply cherished.
She also leaves behind a circle of dear friends and extended family members who will remember her strength, humor, generosity, and unmistakable flair. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Jane Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 28th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, Florida. All are welcome to attend and share in honoring her memory.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Donna’s memory to the Humane Society of Greater Miami at www.humanesocietymiami.org, a cause she cared deeply about in honor of her lifelong love of dogs and animal welfare.
