Noella I Dietz

Noella was born in Orange, New Jersey to Armand and Sarah (Bankowski) Petit-Clair on December 12th, 1936, and was later joined on life’s journey by a younger sister, Arlene aka Chickie (Petit-Clair) (Tony) Carbone. Noella and her family lived in New Jersey while spending her summers on the family farm on Sugar Loaf Mountain in Pennsylvania. After Noella graduated high school, she married H. Joseph Dietz on June 22nd, 1958, in New Jersey. Her years in New Jersey were filled with family and good memories. Noella is preceded in death by our dad of 50 years, Joe Dietz.

Noella is survived by her 5 children and 4 grandchildren: Noella Dietz, Ph.D. and her spouse, Steve Hillberg, Mary Dietz-Batchelor married to Marc Batchelor, sons Wyndham More Batchelor and Rafe Noel Batchelor, Donna Dietz, M.E., married to John Fiorino, and their daughters McKenna Morgan Fiorino and Hanna Kaelin Fiorino, Joseph Dietz, and spouse Selen Dietz, and the baby of the five, Colleen Dietz.

Noella Dietz will always be remembered for her welcoming spirit, her love of reading everything and anything, and the unconditional love she had for her family.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Saint David Catholic School, located at 3900 S University Dr, Davie, FL, 33328, on January 29,

2026, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

An interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, located at 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL, 33068, on January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
