

Scott was born in Little Rock, AR to Ronald and Carol Jack on October 2, 1962. Growing up in an Air Force family meant a lot of moves, but Ralston, Nebraska was always the place he called home.
After graduating from Ralston High School, Scott served in the Air Force, spending time in Okinawa, Japan, and California before settling back in Nebraska. He later worked in the auto salvage business where he made lifelong friends and was known for his sense of humor, straight talk, and his easy-going nature.
Scott married Patti Scheer in December 2014 after more than 10 years together. They shared a deep bond filled with laughter, adventures, and love. Family meant everything to Scott – whether it was his wife, children, grandchildren, or his beloved dog, Jaxyball. He loved everyone fiercely.
Scott is preceded in death by his father Ronald Jack, mother Carol (Charron) Jack and his sister Shari.
Scott is survived by his wife, Patti Scheer-Jack, His children Ronald James Jack, his wife Jessica Jack, Katie Webster and Jessica Bennett, her husband Nick Bennet. Ashley Bruning, her husband Andrew and Hunter Scheer. Brothers Steve Jack, David Jack, and his wife Debra Jack. As well as his childhood brothers/best friends Andy Alkire and Kevin Sanborn.
Scott also had eight wonderful grandchildren, Carter, Hailey., Madison Jack, Colton, and Brooklynn Webster, Blakley Bennett and Lucas and Calia Bruning – his greatest joy and was “Funpa” in their eyes. As well as nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday 10/26 at the Port of Miami. For those planning to attend please contact [email protected] so he can add you to the detailed email distribution list no later than 10/11/25.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made Humane Society of Broward County or any nonprofit animal rescue, in honor of Scotts’ love for his shelter dog.
