Terry Sweigart

Terry Joe Sweigart passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 74. He is survived by his beloved wife, Adriana “Gigi” Sweigart. Terry and Gigi were married on May 10, 1975, in Miami, Florida, and celebrated more than 51 years of marriage. They later made their home in Davie, drawn to its equestrian lifestyle and their shared love of horses.

Terry built a long and respected career in real estate as an owner-broker of Newcastle Realty Inc., serving the Davie and Cooper City communities for many years. Known for his strong work ethic, Terry genuinely loved his work and devoted much of his life to his business and the community he called home.

Together, Terry and Gigi built a life filled with love, companionship, animals, and treasured memories. Terry especially loved his dogs, who were an important part of his family.

He will be deeply missed by Gigi; and the family members, friends, colleagues, clients, and many others whose lives he touched throughout the years.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held between 5pm-7pm on Thursday October 8th at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home located on 2401 S Univeristy Dr, Davie, FL 33324

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
