Walter Joseph Kaminski

Walter was born in Philadelphia, PA, on May 3, 1944, to Walter and Josephine Kaminski, growing up on the hills of Manayunk. After graduating from LaSalle College High School, he earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Villanova University.

Walter married Marion Hohl on October, 5, 1968 and they resided in Willow Grove, PA, for many years. Walter and Marion moved to Plantation, FL, in 2007. After 42 years of a blissful marriage, Marion passed away on May 10, 2010.

Walter spent nearly 30 years working for Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO). He most enjoyed announcing basketball and football games for many years at LaSalle College High School as well as being an avid Nova basketball fan, being a season ticket holder for 40 years. He was a Church Mass usher at St. David parish in Davie, FL, for several years.

Walter is survived by his brother, Ronald Kaminski, as well as his sons Andrew (married to Katherine) Kaminski, father of Katie and Brett, and Jeffrey (married to Siobhan), father of Madison and Allison.
