Alburn C. Davis Jr., aka; Buster, Red, and Pappy, age 85, retired mail carrier and US Navy veteran went to be with his beloved son, Greg on Saturday evening June 1st, 2019; after a four year battle with cancer. He is sadly missed by his wife Doris, sister; Sharon Rayman and husband Milt; also, grandsons SSgt Travis USAF, Korea, his wife Ana and their children Alessandra, Greg, and Annelyse of Idaho, Matt and his daughters Jaycee, fiancé Renee and her son, Charles; step grandson Chris Hamant and his wife Dana and their children Sophie, Lily, and Amelia; former daughter-in-law and good friend Donna Davis. Buster will also be missed by his many in-laws, especially Carol Yocum, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. No more pain. Rest in peace "Dear One." A memorial service will be held 12:30 pm, Sunday, June 9th, 2019 at Tobias Funeral Home - Belmont Chapel - 648 Watervliet Ave. Dayton, OH 45420. A memorial visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30pm, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Davis family.

Although we didn’t know you as well as we would have liked, we know that you were a wonderful ,loving and generous grandfather to Matt and Jaycee, we saw the love you gave first hand. You were always so incredibly kind to my children and our family. You will be missed by all.
